Meet Samia
Hi, I’m Samia (Sah-mee-ah), the owner and head designer of Oh Honey Florals and a proudly self-confessed flower freak.
My journey into floristry began in my early twenties while living in London, where I quickly fell head over heels for the creativity, artistry and connection that comes with working with flowers. I've always had a deep appreciation for nature, and becoming a florist transformed that into an all-consuming passion.
I launched Oh Honey Florals in February 2017, and by 2021 made the decision to specialise exclusively in weddings and events. Creating flowers has never felt like a job to me, it's simply what I love to do.
These days, life looks a little different. When I'm not surrounded by flowers, you'll usually find me chasing after my two beautiful boys, pottering around the garden, or dreaming up my next creative project. Motherhood has given me an even greater appreciation for slowing down, noticing the little things, and finding beauty in the everyday—something that naturally flows into everything I create.
I still pinch myself that I get to spend my days doing what I love most, and I feel incredibly grateful to call this my career.
